Arduino Nano, as the name itself suggest is a miniaturized version of Arduino UNO. Released very lately in India, it is not so popular among common mass & academia (e.g., students and course instructors), but find its use in Industry, where compact form-factor of a product matters a lot. When you don’t require a large number of input/output (I/O) pins then you have to choose Arduino. All the codes written for Arduino UNO & Arduino MEGA 2560 can run in Arduino Nano with a little or no change if the required number of I/O pins are the same. But if there is a requirement of a larger number of logic control pins, then you can always use multiplexing/Charlieplexing techniques. Arduino Nano generally comes with the pins unsoldered, which provide a developer more flexibility in terms of his form factor design, the same kind of Arduino Nano is available for sale online in India at Circuit Uncle. It uses a USB B cable which is different from the standard USB cable which is used with Arduino MEGA & UNO. Atmega328 is SMD soldered to the board so it cannot be detached.
